Successful Tamil writers in abroad by K.S. Sivakumaran

More and more Thamilian and Islamic writers from Sri Lanka are finding publishers in India and abroad. They obtain a wider market for their books. Manimekalai Pirasuran in Chennai had been publishing Lankan writers since 1997. At least about five books published by them had won coveted prizes in both Thamilnadu and Sri Lanka.
K. Indrakumar, A. Muttulingam, Rajeswari Balasubramaniam, Kallaru Satheesh and A. C. Raheel and Ganeswaran were such successful writers. I noticed from the catalogue that Lanka born writers in London,Switzerland, France, Germany, Netherlands, Norway, Qatar, Oman, Kuait, Sweeden, New Zealand, Australia and Denmark numbering 100 had been published through the Chennai publishers.
As far as writers in Sri Lanka itself are concerned, writers from Colombo, Thirukoanamalai, Mattakalappu, Yaalpanam, Malaiaham and Puttalam, numbering 44 have been featured.
And on November 6, 12 books by Lankan writers published by this concern will be launched at the CTS in Wellawatte.
